I giovani incontrano il Tempio
Il giorno 26 aprile abbiamo avuto la gioia di ricevere la visita di decine di studenti del liceo linguistico Pablo Picasso di Pomezia. Il mio plauso va ai professori che li accompagnavano: Ileana Di Nallo, Zhang Nanxi, Alessandro Polito, Alessia Mulas, Anna Maria Paoluzzi.
È ammirevole vedere docenti che si preoccupano di far sperimentare sul campo quello che insegnano ai loro studenti.
I ragazzi e le ragazze si sono stupiti e meravigliati quanto il taoismo vissuto come religione sia ben più vivo dai suoi antichi principi filosofici.
Sono certo che sono tornati a casa arricchiti.
Come me.

Young people meet the Temple
On April 26, we had the joy of receiving a visit from dozens of students from the Pablo Picasso Language High School in Pomezia. My praise goes to the teachers who accompanied them-Ileana Di Nallo, Zhang Nanxi, Alessandro Polito, Alessia Mulas, and Anna Maria Paoluzzi.
It is admirable to see professors who care about having their students experience what they teach in the field.
The boys and girls were amazed and amazed how much Taoism lived as a religion is far more alive from its ancient philosophical principles.
I am sure they went home enriched.
As did I.

Il Taoismo è una religione con duemila anni di storia, centinaia di milioni di fedeli e ha un corpus dottrinale di cinquemila testi, di cui solo uno è diffuso in Occidente: il Daode Jing. Pur essendo una delle più ricche tradizioni religiose al mondo, resta praticamente sconosciuto e incompreso alla maggior parte delle persone.

Bentornati all'ascolto di Babele, un programma condotto da Luciano Cozzolino per la regia di Massimo Quaglio. Oggi i sentieri della fede ci portano a Caserta, in occasione del trentennale della chiesa taoista d'Italia. Due convegni, di cui uno dedicato al dialogo interreligioso come strumento di pace e fraternità nel mondo, delegazioni da Cina, Singapore, Spagna, Portogallo, Svizzera, Slovenia e Australia. Giorni impegnativi per una piccola comunità di 400 fedeli, 22 ecclesiastici e tanti novizi, da sempre guidata da Vincenzo Di Ieso, il maestro Li Xuanzong, che incontrò per caso il taoismo in un tempio nel centro della Cina dove studiava… Buon ascolto.

Sponsorizzata dall’Associazione Taoista Cinese, sostenuta e approvata dal Governo cinese, Il giorno 24 settembre 2023, nell’antico sito di Maoshan, Cina, si è tenuta la prima assemblea plenaria della Federazione Mondiale Taoista.
52 organizzazioni fondatrici nel 2011, tra cui l’Italia, cui si se ne sono aggiunte altre 50 associate provenienti dall’Asia, Europa, America e Oceania.
Erano presenti 102 delegati e oltre 400 rappresentanti.
14 relatori, tra cui il sottoscritto, hanno illustrato all’assemblea lo status quo del Taoismo nel mondo e proposto progetti di sviluppo.

Gli scopi della Federazione sono:
1. Trasmettere e promuovere l'eccellente cultura tradizionale del Taoismo,
2. Rafforzare l'unità e la cooperazione dei taoisti di tutto il mondo
3. Promuovere la modernizzazione e l'internazionalizzazione del Taoismo,
4. Promuovere lo scambio e la conoscenza reciproca delle civiltà umane, nonché la pace e lo sviluppo del mondo.

Cariche elette:

1 – Presidente Mondiale: Rev. M° Li Guangfu
2 – Segretario Generale: Rev. M° Meng Zhiling
3 – n. 6 vice-presidenti: 4 dall’Asia, 1 Messico e 1 Italia.

Essere stato parte di questo evento storico e irripetibile, è un onore per l’Italia e una responsabilità per me nei confronti del mondo taoista per la carica ricevuta.
Voglio esprimere la mia gratitudine a tutti i Delegati che mi hanno sostenuto durante le elezioni ma soprattutto sono grato a tutti i miei discepoli e a tutti i fedeli taoisti italiani che, insieme a me, hanno portato avanti, con umiltà e dedizione, la Fede Taoista, per oltre 30 anni.

WORLD FEDERATION of DAOISM

Sponsored by the Chinese Taoist Association, supported and approved by the Chinese government, On September 24, 2023, at the ancient site of Maoshan, China, the first plenary assembly of the Taoist World Federation was held.
52 founding organizations in 2011, including Italy, joined by 50 additional associated organizations from Asia, Europe, America and Oceania.
102 delegates and more than 400 representatives were in attendance.
14 speakers, including myself, briefed the assembly on the status quo of Taoism in the world and proposed development projects.

The aims of the Federation are:

1. To transmit and promote the excellent traditional culture of Taoism,
2. To strengthen the unity and cooperation of Taoists around the world
3. Promote the modernization and internationalization of Taoism,
4. Promote the exchange and mutual knowledge of human civilizations as well as world peace and development.

Elected offices:

1 - World President: Rev. M° Li Guangfu
2 - General Secretary: Rev. M° Meng Zhiling
3 - No. 6 vice-presidents: 4 from Asia, 1 Mexico and 1 Italy.

To have been part of this historic and unrepeatable event is an honor for Italy and a responsibility for me toward the Taoist world for the position I received.
I want to express my gratitude to all the Delegates who supported me during the election, but most of all I am grateful to all my disciples and to all the Italian Taoist faithful who, together with me, have carried on the Taoist Faith, with humility and dedication, for more than 30 years.
